On 17th December the lake was treated with 3 tonnes of siltex. This is a chalk based compound which overtime decomposes the silt on the bed of the lake. It is spread from a boat at a rate of one tonne per acre and is harmless to the fish. Hopefully, we will see a slow reduction in the silt level and a gradual increase in depth.

In late November we stocked the lake with 100 bream averaging
2lbs each and 50 carp averaging 2lbs each. 
The fish were in superb condition and will hopefully boost
catches in the months to come.
